Tasmanian Minister for Children, Michelle O’Byrne, has urged any remaining individuals who suffered abuse while in state care to come forward before the successful redress scheme closes to new applicants next month.

The Family and Community Development Committee have called for submissions for the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into handling of child abuse by religious and other organisations.
The Committee has released a Submission Guide which is intended to assist interested parties in the process of preparing a submission for this Inquiry. Submissions close Friday, 30 August 2012.
