Lentara Uniting Care (formerly Orana) is holding the Annual Orana Care Leaver’s Reunion on Anzac day,Thursday 25 April 2013, 12:00-4:00pm.

A new national network of support services for Forgotten Australians and Former Child Migrants was launched by Jenny Macklin, the Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, at Open Place in Victoria on Friday 17 August 2012.
The new national Find & Connect services will deliver:
• personalised support and counselling;
• assistance to obtain records, shed new light on personal histories …
The Family and Community Development Committee have called for submissions for the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into handling of child abuse by religious and other organisations.
The Committee has released a Submission Guide which is intended to assist interested parties in the process of preparing a submission for this Inquiry. Submissions close Friday, 30 August 2012.
