Hillside Training Home for Girls was established in Ormond House in Paddington in 1920 by the State Children's Relief Department. It was a home that trained girls aged 10 to 14 in domestic service. It possibly closed when the State Children's Relief Board became the Child Welfare Department and its activities were moved from Ormond House.
