Summary
The Phillip Creek Mission was established in 1945 and run by the Aborigines Inland Mission. In 1952 the Native Affairs Branch took over administration of the mission. The mission was a temporary site as it lacked a permanent source of water and was moved to a new settlement at Warrabri in 1956.
