Glossary Term Destitute Child (1866 - )
- Glossary Term and Term commonly found on child welfare records
A child with no means of support. This term was first defined in the South Australian Destitute Persons Relief Act 1866-67, which also applied in the Northern Territory at this time, as 'any child who shall have no sufficient means of subsistence apparent to the Board'
