Notifications of Discharge is a register (1943-46; 1950-67) that records: infant's name, date of birth, date of admission and date of discharge; name, address and occupation of person to whom discharged or by whom adopted. From the 1950s, additional information is recorded including: name and occupation of person who will care for the child, and name and occupation of husband of carer. Quantity: 8 boxes (part)
Application for access must be made, in writing, to the Archivist-in-Charge, providing personal identification and establishing the right to access information. Physical access to the records is not permitted due to their fragility and the need to protect the confidentiality of information concerning other persons. Information will be forwarded by mail.
