Returns Of Employment Changes Made By Young Persons Sponsored By The Fairbridge Farm Scheme are records of weekly returns that were sent by the Principal of the Fairbridge Farm School to the Child Welfare Department. The information includes the name of the young person, the date of their new employment, the category of wages and their home address. The returns were signed by the Principal and include the children's departmental file numbers.

Access to these records is currently restricted. In New South Wales, records relating to individuals, such as case files and correspondence are closed to public access for 100 years. Records such as registers and indexes are closed to public access for 80 years.
