St Gerard's was a Third Schedule Hospital run by the Sisters of St Joseph at St Anthony's Croydon. It had been St Anne's Nursery. St Gerard's was for married women and babies who needed care, treatment and recuperation after birth, and for single mothers and their babies, including those awaiting adoption. It was closed in 1980 and converted to a home for children in crisis.
