The Anglicare Out of Home Care Records comprise records relating to children and young people in foster care and residential care programs run by Anglicare. After a young person has been discharged, Anglicare Out of Home Care Services keeps their records in this collection for 1 to 2 years. Following that period, the records are then transferred to Care Leavers Archives and Records for permanent retention.
