Kingsbury Cottage Family Group Home, in Bardon, opened around August/September 1960. Originally run by the Methodist Church, its operation was transferred to the newly-created Uniting Church in June 1977. In 2014, Kingsbury was an emergency residential home for young people aged 12 - 17 years.

Details

Kingsbury Cottage was licensed under the State Children Act on 27 October 1960, and later was licensed under the Children's Services Act on 4 August 1966.
