Virginia Share House, at Virginia, was a family group home run by the Order of the Sisters of Mercy. It opened in the late 1970s and closed in late 1996. The children were moved to Avila Family Group Home. Virginia Share House reopened 20 July 1998 and in 2014 is operating as a residential facility.
