The Children's Protection Act 1936 (Act No. 2279/1936) was assented to on 3 September 1936 and commenced on 1 April 1937. Its long title was 'An Act to consolidate certain Acts relating to the protection and punishment of children'. It was repealed by the Community Welfare Act 1972. It resembled the Children's Protection Act 1899.
