The Maintenance Act Amendment Act 1958 (Act No. 31/1957) further amended the Maintenance Act 1926. Its full title was 'An Act to amend the Maintenance Act, 1926-1952', and it commenced on 27 November 1958. The main impact of this legislation was the change of name of the Glandore Industrial School to the Glandore Children's Home.
