Seventeen interviews (25 hours and 10 minutes) commissioned by the Libraries Board of SA concerning the experiences of children, nuns and priests living and working at Goodwood Orphanage, also known as St Vincent De Paul Orphanage. Tapes and full transcripts are available for research. Some restrictions apply to individual interviews. Three further interviews held in the JD Somerville collection, OH199, OH73 and OH138 also concern the Orphanage.
Date range - recorded 1993-1994, information covers years 1922 -1975.

Researchers can have access to documents, photographs, recordings and transcripts held at the State Library of South Australia on presenting their Readers Ticket.
