The Gurney Street Legacy Hostels were established by Legacy in Gurney Street, Dulwich in 1964. The two cottages were purchased by Legacy to provide temporary accommodation for Legacy wards after the closure of Waverley House. The Gurney Street Legacy Hostels only operated for a few years due to general changes in the field of residential child care and declining demand.
