Naldera Family Home was run by the government as a family home in Glandore. It took over the building that had been known as Reception Cottage. Children in the Home lived under the supervision of cottage parents. From 1978-1979, the Home was also referred to as a Home Care Unit. In 1979, the building was leased to the Indochinese Refugee Association and became Naldera Cottage, ICRA House.
