The Apprentices Act 1950 (Act No.51/1950) was passed on 7 December 1950 and commenced 25 January 1951. Its full title was 'An Act to make provision for the technical education and the supervision of the training of apprentices, to repeal the Technical Education of Apprentices Act 1917-1940, and to amend the Industrial Code 1920-1950'. The act was repealed by the Industrial and Commercial Training Act 1981 on 19 May 1981.
