The Children's Services Act 1985 (Act No.21/1985) was passed on 28 March 1985 and commenced 1 July 1985. Its long title is 'An Act to ensure the provision of services for children; to repeal the Kindergarten Union Act, 1974; to amend the Community Welfare Act, 1972; and for other purposes'.
