The Statutes Amendment (Truth in Sentencing) Act 1994 (Act No.35/1994) was passed on 2 June 1994 and commenced 1 August 1994. The Act amended the Correctional Services Act 1982, the Criminal Law (Sentencing) Act 1988 and the Young Offenders Act 1993.
