The Statutes Amendment (Young Offenders) Act 1998 (Act No.41/1998) was passed on 13 August 1998 and commenced 1 October 1998. This Act amended the Criminal Law (Sentencing) Act 1988, the Summary Procedure Act 1921 and the Young Offenders Act 1993.
