The Children's Protection (Miscellaneous) Amendment Act 2005 (Act No.76/2005) was passed on 8 December 2005 and commenced s6(1), 7, 9, 10 and 12: 31 December 2006; s13 to 16: 1 October 2006; remainder: 1 February 2006. The Act amended the Children's Protection Act 1993, and made a related amendment to the Family and Community Services Act 1972.
