The Marriage Act 1926 also known by its full title 'An Act to amend the Marriage Act 1895' (Act no.17 Geo. V No.10) increased the cost of accessing the Marriage Notice Book and other records related to marriage. This legislation was repealed by Statute Law Revision Act 1934 (25 Geo. V no.78) on 31 May 1938.
