Orana UnitingCare was the new name given in 2011 to the former Orana Family Services. The name change reflected a change in services and that the organisation had stopped providing residential care. On 29 June 2012 UnitingCare Sunshine and Broadmeadows and Orana UnitingCare came together to form a new organisation Lentara UnitingCare.
