'Ken Merton interviewed by Lesley Alves in the Forgotten Australians and Former Child Migrants oral history project' is a sound recording held at the National Library of Australia. It is a recording of an interview with Ken Merton in 2011. In the interview Ken discusses being put into foster care as a baby, his life at Pleasant Creek Special School, his hearing being damaged and having treatment in Melbourne, transferring to Sandhurst Boys Training Centre in Bendigo at 15 and his mother and siblings. Ken also talks about his life post-'care' including his involvement with CLAN, Open Place, Child and Family Services (CAFS) Ballarat and attending the Apology in Canberra.
