This article from The West Australian. It reports that Dutch children who were evacuated from Java after World War Two would be sent to Fairbridge for a summer holiday in January 1946. The item says that the children would be under the care of 'Dutch authorities' while they were at Fairbridge and would stay in two cottages there.
