Youth Household was established in the Perth city area in 1985. It was run by Mofflyn Child and Family Care Services and provided medium-term supported accommodation to up to five young people aged 16-21 years. Also known as Youth House, the service closed in 1988.

Details

Youth Household was established by Mofflyn Child and Family Care Services around May 1985, in a rented house in Perth. Its purpose was to provide medium term accommodation for up to five young people aged 16-21 years. It was funded through the Youth Supported Accommodation Program, which was a sub-program of the Commonwealth/State funded Supported Accommodation Assistance Program.

Youth Household, which was also known as Youth House, closed in 1988.
