'John Moss, CBE - U.K. Child Expert. Visit to Australia. Part I' is a file held by the National Archives of Australia. It documents the arrangements for a visit to Children's Homes and State child welfare authorities by John Moss CBE, a 'UK Child Expert' who worked for the Home Office in Britain. The file also holds some information supplied for Moss' report, and Minutes of a conversation with Commonwealth authorities following Moss' visit to eastern and southern States (pp.9-33). There is some information about Western Australia in the file, but Moss' reports on his visit to the WA institutions is not on this file.
