In 2009, the Churches of Christ Federal Aborigines Mission Board Inc (CCFAMBI) was officially renamed the Australian Churches of Christ Indigenous Ministries Inc. The CCFAMBI was established as an incorporated body, as part of Churches of Christ in Australia in 1942. The Western Australian Government authorised the CCFAMBI to conduct a mission at Norseman (Native Reserve number 22179) on 19 January 1943. Almost 2000 children were cared for at various locations over the years including at Norseman Mission, Carnarvon Mission (Ingada Village), Fairhaven Hostel, Esperance, Bamburra Hostel, Yokine, and Roelands Village, including Wollaston Hostel in Bunbury.

Thousands of photos taken at the Churches of Christ Mission centres have been preserved, and identified where possible. In time, these will be available from ACCIM.
According to the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies website www.aiatsis.gov.au , the State Records Office in Western Australia 'holds extensive records relating to missions.'
