"An Act to amend the Community Services (Aborigines) Act 1984 and Community Services (Torres Strait) Act 1984"(Act no. 49/2001). This act amends both the Community Services (Aborigines) Act 1984 (Act no.51/1984) and the Community Services (Torres Strait) Act 1984 (Act no.52/1984). This details the jurisdiction and powers of Aboriginal and Island Councils in the State of Queensland as well as their limitations, responsibilities and other aspects of their functioning. This act was repealed by the Acts Interpretation Act 1945 (s.22C) on 27 April 2002.
