Pregnancy Help was established as a program of Centrecare in the late 1980s. By 1989, it was funded through the Commonwealth/State funded Supported Accommodation Assistance Program. Two houses operated with external (not live-in) support, and there was also a house for young women needing crisis accommodation. Pregnancy Help had closed by 1991.
