Allan Rees, born 1931, Perth, W.A. Rees speaks about working as a Sunday school teacher at Roelands Mission, W.A. during the early 1950s. He also talks about his employment at Cosmo Newbery Aboriginal Penal Settlement in 1956-57 and his postings with United Aborigines Mission to the Sunday Island Mission and to the Amy Bethel Hostel at Derby. He also discusses the twin Aboriginal boys that he and his wife fostered. Rees later worked at Mount Margaret Mission and at Fitzroy Crossing Mission.
