August 2010 updates
This month there are over 500 entries in Pathways that have been added or have changed as new information has come to light. We have created new entries for Sunshine Boys’ Hostel, Carlton Refuge and Ministering Children’s League to name a few; and there are now pictures from 1953 of Pleasant Creek Special School, Janefield Colony, Travancore; and others taken at various times including Church of England Home for Children in Brighton, St Aidan’s Orphanage (also known as the Convent of Good Shepherd, Bendigo), and the Magdalen Asylum (also known as the Convent of Good Shepherd, Abbotsford).
