Helping Forgotten Australians and Former Child Migrants trace their past
Forgotten Australians and Former Child Migrants will get more help to access their personal records and reconnect with family where possible, with more than $380,000 in additional funding from the Gillard Government.
As part of the Find and Connect Records Access project, 29 non-government organisations across Australia will each receive up to $15,000 so they can properly index and document their records to improve accessibility for Forgotten Australians and Former Child Migrants.
