Forgotten Australians Queensland Remembrance Day is on Wednesday 5 September 2012.
Forgotten Australians, their family and friends in partnership with Micah Projects and the Child Protection Week Committee will join together to:
Acknowledge the courage of the many people who experienced abuse and neglect in the care of the church and state child protection systems.
Affirm their determination in breaking the silence.
Be a voice for continuous reform and justice within child protection policy and practice.
