This City of Sydney Archives site provides access to an online index of Sands Sydney, Suburban and Country Commercial Directory, [Sands Directory], which has been scanned from the microfiche produced by WF Pascoe Ltd.
Sands Directory was like a telephone book that listed residential and business street addresses. It is a valuable source of information for family and local historians. Residential address information often included the name of the occupant, and their trade.
