Admission Registers (Boys' Section) are records about girls who attended Minda from June 1966 to April 1971. The volumes include personal information about the boy, the offence he committed and to whom and when he was discharged.

Access Conditions

Access to these records is restricted. People wishing to access restricted records can either contact their nearest Community Services Centre to apply or they can post the information; an application form must be completed together with proof of identity provided.

Records

The Admission Registers give details of the date of admission, full name, age, religious denomination and by whom the boy was committed. The nature of the offence tcommitted as well as information as to under whose jurisdiction the boys were discharged, on what date this occurred, and details of any appeals. Whether the boys were checked by a doctor and/or psychiatrist, and further remarks of a personal kind are also included.

According to Connecting Kin (1998), there are 6 volumes of Admission Registers (Boys' Section).
