Access Conditions

Access to these records is currently restricted. In New South Wales, records relating to individuals, such as case files and correspondence are closed to public access for 100 years. Records such as registers and indexes are closed to public access for 80 years.

    These 181 boxes of files record the daily proceedings at Minda Children's Court. They include the agenda for each day's business, and full details of each case brought before the court.
  • Appeal Register, 1975-1983. Reference Number NRS-21322.
    These registers record information about appeals being heard at Minda Children's Court. They include information such as appeal number, 'particulars' (e.g. name of person making the appeal), date lodged, bail, date set, and result.
  • Foreign Appeals Register, 1976-1977. Reference Number: NRS-21325.
    This register records information about children's court cases. They include information such as appeal number, name of the person making the appeal, date lodged, recognizance (bail), and date of court appearance.
  • Minda Children's Court Copies of committals for trial, 1978-1983. Reference Number: RNCG-874.
