The Westbrook Farm Home for Boys Inquiry was conducted by Mr AE Schwarten SM following a mass break-out of an estimated 36 boys on 14 May 1961. The report from the inquiry was submitted on 27 September 1961. The Nicklin Government sealed the report, which only became available in 2005 under Freedom of Information laws.
