The Juvenile Justice Act 1992 provided the legislative framework for the administration of juvenile justice in Queensland. It established a new basis for the administration of juvenile justice, including a new range of sentencing options. It repealed the juvenile justice provisions of the Children's Services Act 1965. This act has the full title "An Act to provide comprehensively for the laws concerning children who commit, or who are alleged to have committed, offences and for related purposes" (Act no.44/1992)
