Layton House, in Paddington, was operated by Save the Children Fund Queensland. It provided support and accommodation for female wards of the State. Layton house opened 19 February 1980 and closed March 1981.
In Missing Pieces (2001), Save the Children Fund stated that they hold no records relating to former residents of Layton House .
