The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Queensland operates as an independent animal welfare charity, educating the community on its responsibilities and continuing to protect and enhance the welfare of animals.
It was previously known as The Royal Queensland Society for the Prevention of Cruelty until the present name was adopted in 1981.
