The Goodna Hospital for the Insane, situated at Wacol, Queensland, was a State run facility. The Goodna Hospital for the Insane was previously known as the Goodna Asylum for the Insane.
Evidence shows that children who were wards of the state were placed in Queensland mental institutions however more research is needed to find out about children placed at the Goodna Hospital for the Insane.
