Case Files, Series ID 19384, relate to children who were admitted to Rockhampton Receiving Depot, Rockhampton Orphanage or St George Orphanage. Case files were created to document the history of state children during their stay at the institution. The Case Files include admission and discharge details, information on parents, contracts for the hiring out of children, maintenance details, court and police documents, details of wages paid to children hired out to service, banking arrangements, and general correspondence.
Access to some of these records is restricted to protect personal privacy.
