"An Act to amend the Community Services (Aborigines) Act 1984 and the Community Services (Torres Strait) Act 1984" (Act no. 53/1999). This act details the degree of intervention the State of Queensland can make into Aboriginal and Island Councils, as well as the jurisdiction, financial support, regulation and running of Aboriginal or Island Councils. As such this act amends both the Community Services (Aborigine) Act 1984 (Act no.51/1984) and the Community Services (Torres Strait) Act 1984 (Act no.52/1984). This act was repealed by the Acts Interpretation Act 1945 (s.22C) on 22 January 2000.
