The Sisters of Mercy, Adelaide Congregation, was established in 1880 in South Australia. They ran the St Vincent De Paul Orphanage and Yoorana Cottage, St Vincent de Paul Group Homes. In December 2011 the Sisters of Mercy, Adelaide Congregation became part of the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea (ISMAPNG).

Details

The Sisters of Mercy ran the St Vincent de Paul Orphanage at Goodwood, which was made an 'approved organisation' to receive child migrants in 1948.
