The Lunatics Amendment Act 1865 (Act No. 3/1865) was passed and commenced on 5 December 1865. Its full title was: An Act to protect certain persons from actions by reason of the omission of certain matters required to be done by The Lunatics Act 1864. The Lunatics Amendment Act 1865 was repealed by the Statute Law Revision Act 1934 on 15 November 1934.
