Aldridge Lodge was included in the Find & Connect web resource in 2011, based on its inclusion in the Homes and Orphanages Listing on the website of Care Leavers of Australia Network (CLAN). In 2014, further research and consultation with CLAN indicates that it is unlikely that Aldridge Lodge ever was an institution for children in Tasmania.
