Queen Alexandra Maternity Hospital
The Ante Natal Record Cards, dated from 1924 to 1953, came from the Queen Alexandra Maternity Hospital. The cards include the mother's name, address, and age as well as ante and post natal medical details. They provide the sex and weight of the baby and information about his or her condition, for instance the card might say 'living'. If the baby is for adoption, that is noted.
