'Forgotten Australians History' is a website of the Australian Government. It was set up as part of the Forgotten Australians: Our History project to document some of the history of the Forgotten Australians, and to " acknowledge and remember the experiences of these children". The work is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs [taken from the website, February 2010].
