The GordonCare for Children Records date back to around 1960. The collection relates to the Gordon Homes for Boys, the Gordon Homes for Boys and Girls and GordonCare for Children (which ceased providing out of home care for children in 2012). The records include admission registers, client files, school records, medical records and referrals. There are also some administrative records including Committee of Management meetings and financial records. As of 2019, access to these records is provided via the Care Leavers Records Service within the Department of Health and Human Services.
